An Atlanta man is accused of shooting and killing a man in Rockdale County last month, authorities said.

Skylur Gandy, 28, faces counts of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony after the Dec. 15 shooting, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office said in a Monday news release.

Gandy was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Atlanta five days after the shooting, the release said. The murder charge was added after the victim, Arthur Henry, died Dec. 22.

The shooting took place on Plantation Boulevard in unincorporated Conyers. No other information was provided.

Gandy remains in the county’s jail without bond, according to online jail records.
