Atlanta cops seek public’s help in fatal shooting near strip club

Atlanta police Wednesday were seeking the public’s help in apprehending a suspect or suspects in a weekend shooting near a west Atlanta strip club that left one man dead and another in grave condition.

Police released surveillance video from the Stilettos Gentlemen’s Club at 806 Marietta Street. The video shows the gunman shooting the victims outside the club.

A reward of up to $2,000 also is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the dead victim as 37-year-old Mark Turner of Atlanta.

Brandon Brewer, the second victim, was in the intensive care unit at Grady Memorial Hospital, suffering from a significant head injury. Police said they have not been able to talk to Brewer because of his condition.

Police said both Turner and Brewer had visited the club before the shooting, which was reported about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Authorities said both men were shot with an assault rifle.

Police are asking the public to contact Investigator S.R. Benton with any information at 404-546-5417 or call CrimeStoppers at 404-577-TIPS
