The athletic director of a girls preparatory school in Chattanooga, Tenn., has resigned after he was arrested in a North Georgia prostitution sting, according to a media report.
Stacey Gene Hill, 59, was one of eight men arrested Wednesday night in Dalton, according to multiple media reports. Police used an undercover officer in the sting.
Hill has worked at Girls Preparatory School for decades, the Chattanooga Times Free Press reported.
"... Our community is experiencing hurt over this situation, and it is important that we proceed with integrity and in the best interests of our girls," the school said in a statement.
Hill and the others arrested were charged with pandering, a misdemeanor, police said.
