Two men have been arrested and charged with murder in a fatal shooting that followed a home invasion in DeKalb County.

Marcus Wilder, 23, was killed Saturday morning when he came upon intruders as he entered his home in the East Perimeter Pointe Apartments in the 4900 block of Treecrest Parkway, DeKalb County police Maj. Steve Fore said.

Wilder’s roommate had been attacked and robbed by three armed men several hours before, at about 4:30 a.m., during an invasion of the apartment, and he was treated for a laceration at a DeKalb hospital, Fore said.

When Wilder came home about 8:30 a.m., he apparently walked in on intruders and was shot, Fore said. He died at the scene.

Jeffery Price, 23, and Quenterius Brown, 22, were charged with murder.

Brown was also charged with burglary, home invasion, armed robbery and aggravated assault, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Cynthia Williams said.

Price, Jalon McNease, 17, and Octavious Johnson, 26, were charged in the home invasion armed robbery, Fore said. Johnson was also charged with aggravated assault, Williams said.

All were in custody Tuesday.
