Twelve days after a man was dropped off at a metro Atlanta hospital with a gunshot wound, authorities said they have made two arrests.
Travis Bradley and Tevin Bradley are charged with concealment of death in connection with the slaying of Jordan Malik Wooten, 21, Newton County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Mike Cunningham said Tuesday.
Travis Bradley is in custody in Phenix City, Ala., and Tevin Bradley has bonded out of the Newton County jail, according to Cunningham. Both suspects are from Covington, according to the incident report.
Wooten, 21, was pronounced dead shortly after he was dropped off at Piedmont Newton Hospital on Sept. 14, sheriff’s spokeswoman Sgt. Cortney Morrison said at the time.
Covington police initially responded to the hospital, and they obtained information that the shooting might have happened in unincorporated Newton County, Morrison said. At that point, the investigation was turned over to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities still have not said who shot Wooten, where the shooting took place and who left him at the hospital.
