A man is in jail after he cut the power to a woman’s home, went inside and began touching himself as she slept, Chamblee police said.
Walther Morales-Roblero was arrested Tuesday after allegedly breaking into the woman’s bedroom while her 4-year-old son was in the room with her at their home on Longview Drive, Chamblee police Capt. Ernesto Ford said.
“When I saw, I screamed and my son woke up, and the only thing I could think about was getting the person out of there,” the victim told Channel 2 Action News. “And I put myself between him and my child and I just pushed him out, picked up a chair and pushed toward him.”
She pushed the man out the back door and gave police enough descriptors to create a sketch. She also identified him in a photo lineup, Ford said.
Officers were able to identify Morales-Roblero after Officer Corea Loyd noticed similarities between the sketch and a man she had arrested in the past, police said.
Morales-Roblero faces charges of burglary and violating the peeping Tom act, according to jail records.
