Deputies in Coweta County are investigating after three people robbed a Waffle House at gunpoint.

The incident happened about 3 a.m. Sunday at the restaurant on Ga. 154 in Newnan, according to the Coweta sheriff’s office.

Two men and a woman wore dark clothing and masks during the robbery, the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post. Investigators said one of the suspects held employees at gunpoint while the others took money from the register and cut open the safe.
