Brookhaven police confronted at least one armed person after a shooting was reported Sunday morning inside the Northeast Plaza at 3363 Buford Highway.

That shooting was reported just before 3 a.m. at Acapulco Tropical, a sports bar, in the strip mall, Brookhaven police spokesman Major Brandon Gurley said.

When police arrived, an armed person was located in the parking lot.

“All parties involved in the shooting were eventually located,” Gurley said. “Detectives are working to sort out the details surrounding the shooting and file charges on those responsible.”

No injuries were reported.
