DeKalb County police SWAT officers were called to a residence Friday when a man barricaded himself inside, spokesman Stephen Fore said.

The incident began shortly before noon on Emerald Glen in the Circle Stone neighborhood, Channel 2 Action News reported. No one else is in the house.

The man, who is 37 years old, approached his 19-year-old ex-girlfriend, who was walking down her street, Channel 2 reported. He had a gun with him that was visible, and they got into a scuffle over her cellphone.

The woman ran to a neighbor’s house to call for help, and police responded, the station reported. The man ran into her house, and police can see him moving inside.

Bomb squad trucks also were on the scene.
