A 17-year-old had been on the run for roughly a week before an anonymous tipster noticed his face from an alleged armed robbery at a QuikTrip in Woodstock.

Chase Henderson was arrested Friday at a home less than a mile from the Holly Springs Road gas station, Cherokee County sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Jay Baker said.

Police did not say what Hendrson took from the store, but said a tipster identified him after surveillance footage was released to the public.

Henderson, who faces an armed robbery charge, remains in the Cherokee County jail.
