Update: Atlanta police have given an "all clear at this time" after determining that a suspicious package left at the intersection of Courtland Street and Andrew Young International Boulevard early Friday afternoon was a bag of personal belongs, said Officer Ralph Woolfolk.

The bag belonged to someone staying at a nearby hotel, Woolfolk said.

Original Story:Atlanta police officers were investigating a suspicious package left at the intersection of Courtland Street and Andrew Young International Boulevard early Friday afternoon.

A 911 caller reported seeing a black bag with a lock left unattended in the area.

Andrew Young International Boulevard was blocked east of Piedmont Road and north of Courtland Street during the investigation, Officer Ralph Woolfolk said.
