Two years after Kenneth Corn’s death, police arrested a man accused of killing the father in his grandmother’s driveway on Barrow Place in Atlanta.

James Reid was charged with murder Thursday in the shooting death. Corn’s wife Tamilla was pregnant with the couple’s third child when he died, Channel 2 Action News reported.

“I’ve been waiting and anticipating for almost two years,” Corn’s mother Alecia Kates told Channel 2.

But the arrest doesn’t ease the pain of losing Corn, especially since Tamilla Corn thinks other arrests should be made.

“He’s not the only assailant,” she told the news station. “It was other people in the vehicle with him.”

Daughter Danyel Corn said she hopes her father’s accused killer stays in jail.

“How would your kids feel not having a dad?” she asked. “I want him to go to jail for life.”

The mother and wife said Reid was an acquaintance of Corn.

Reid is in the Fulton County Jail. He also faces assault and weapons charges.
