A fourth teenager charged in connection with a Cobb County home invasion was granted bond during a court appearance Thursday, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Jahvon Hammond, 16, was given a $50,000 bond and ordered to remain on house arrest.

He is one of four juveniles being charged as an adult in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at a Powder Springs home last month. A fifth suspect in the case is 18 years old, police said.

Homeowner Isabel Lay-Meireles, told Channel 2 Action News her son had friends over to play video games. She said she didn’t know any girls were coming over, but

Sarah Austin and America Lesesne were hanging out with the group when when three others walked in, Cobb police said previously.

The three people allegedly held the group at gunpoint and stole an iPhone and a Gucci wallet, according to an arrest warrant obtained by the news station.

Austin, Lescene and Thomas Poole, all 16, were arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree burglary-home invasion, armed robbery and aggravated assault, according to jail records.

They were each given a $50,000 bond on Friday, AJC.com reported.

Hammond and 18-year-old Verdeldric Ware, who reportedly escaped the home after the robbery,  were arrested a week after the incident and charged.

Prosecutors said Thursday that Hammond was the one who brought the gun to the home.  His mother testified that the Sprayberry High School student did well in class that said he would follow the judge’s orders if he was released from jail, Channel 2 reported.

Ware, who remains held at the Cobb jail without bond, is expected to appear in court next week, records show.
