The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 78-year-old woman who has been missing since early Saturday.

Eleanor T. Alexander is believed to be suffering from dementia, according to the sheriff’s office. She was last seen by a passerby on Providence Church Road in Newnan on Saturday around 1:30 a.m.

Dozens of deputies and a K-9 unit were involved in the search Sunday, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Alexander is described as a white woman with blue eyes and white hair. She’s about 5-foot-3 and weighs 105 pounds.

The passerby said Alexander was wearing a pink shirt and pink and white striped pajama pants.

Alexander may not know her name and may answer to Aña or Nana.

Authorities ask that anyone with information on Alexander call 911 or the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office at 770-253-1502.
