After grabbing some chicken wings and potato wedges at the Publix deli, a Cobb County woman couldn’t wait to eat her lunch, according to police.

So, she allegedly went straight into the store’s restroom, where she ate. But then, she left the Mars Hill Road store without paying for the food, according to Cobb County police.

“Said accused took the items into the bathroom, where she consumed the items and exited the store, bypassing the registers,” an arrest warrant obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution stated.

Elaina Marie Clark, of Powder Springs, was arrested Friday afternoon at the store and charged with theft by shoplifting, Cobb jail records showed. Tuesday night, Clark remained in jail, where she was being held on $1,000 bond.
