A trio from out of state was being held Tuesday without bond in the Douglas County jail after allegedly swiping about $4,000 worth of merchandise from Dillard’s, according to police.

Dominique Javius, 26, and Terome Scott, 34, both of Baton Rouge, La., were charged with shoplifting and theft by receiving for incidents at Arbor Place Mall over the weekend, according to a police report and jail records. Christopher Coleman, 35, of Connecticut, was also arrested and charged with giving a false name, forgery, identity fraud, felony obstruction of justice and four counts of misdemeanor obstruction of justice in connection with the case.

On Friday, Javius and Scott allegedly stole 15 pair of Miss Me jeans, a Gucci cologne set, four Mophie phone cases, two LifeProof phone cases, six Dooney and Bourke purses and an Antonio Melani purse, according to police. The items had a total value of $3,795, police said.

Coleman was allegedly acting as a lookout for Javius and Scott, though he did not know them, the Douglas County Sentinel reported. Coleman was found with 22 fake credit cards and fought with police during his arrest, leaving him with a black eye, the newspaper reported.
