An employee of an east Cobb County pharmacy is accused of using his cellphone to record video of a woman using the restroom, according to police.

Edward Owens Briggs, of Decatur, was arrested early Monday and charged with eavesdropping, a felony, and booked into the Cobb County jail, according to an arrest warrant obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“Accused did hide his Huawei cellphone in the vent over the toilet in the women’s bathroom of the CVS Pharmacy where he worked,” the arrest warrant stated.

The woman did not give her consent for the video, according to police. It was not known whether the woman also worked at the store.

“This recording was viewed by two witnesses and both the victim and accused were confirmed to be on the recording,” the warrant stated.

Briggs was being held Monday night on $5,000 bond, jail records showed.
