A Cobb County parent is accused of swiping more than $6,000 worth of personal purchases on a booster club credit card.

As treasurer of the Campbell High School football booster club, Stephanie Lewis Ford of Smyrna, collected money and had access to the club’s credit card, according to an arrest warrant obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

But between July and November of 2012, Ford allegedly used the card for airplane tickets, a rental car, a storage unit, university fees and fast food, the warrant states. Ford’s personal purchases on the card totaled $$6,291.76, according to Cobb County school police.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ford on a felony theft by taking charge. She had not been booked into the Cobb jail as of Friday afternoon.
