Robert Butts, who is scheduled to be executed Friday night, has requested hamburger, steak and chicken for his final meal.

According to the Department of Corrections, Butts has asked for a bacon cheeseburger with American and cheddar cheese, a ribeye steak, six chicken tenders, seasoned french fries, cheesecake and strawberry lemonade.

Butts is scheduled to die by lethal injection for the 1996 armed robbery and murder of off-duty correctional officer Donovan Corey Parks. The crime was supposed to improve Butts' standing in the Folk Nation gang.

His co-defendant, Marion Wilson, was also convicted of murdering Parks and sentenced to death but Wilson received a reprieve last week when the U.S. Supreme Court sent his case back to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals with instructions to take another look.

Both Butts and Wilson were 18 when they asked Parks for a ride outside a Milledgeville Walmart, only to direct him to a semi-secluded spot where Butts shot the correctional officer in the back of the head with a sawed-off shotgun.

If Butts is executed as planned, he will be the second man Georgia has put to death this year.
