Earlier this month, LaGrange police posted a wanted man’s mug shots on Facebook and asked for the public’s help tracking him down.

The man has not been arrested, but in the past 24 hours, millions of people have seen him.

He’s going viral on TikTok.

On Tuesday, 21-year-old William Reeves Durga posted a short video of himself dancing in front of a screenshot of the police department’s Facebook post. The words, “Come and get me (expletive)” are plastered in front of Durga’s mug shots.

The TikTok video has amassed more than 3 million views, 750,000 likes and 39,000 comments on the social media network. Durga’s account name is @lildvrtyy, and he has nearly 20,000 followers. The video is embedded below.

Content warning: The song that plays in the video includes explicit language.

Durga is wanted in connection with a seven-month investigation by the GBI, according to the department’s post. Police linked to a GBI news release from June, which announced seven arrests made in the undercover drug operation. The suspects face charges including sale of cocaine and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, among others.

The post did not say how Durga is involved in the investigation.

Durga provided a statement to the LaGrange Daily News regarding his post, which said:

“Honestly, I’m not wanting to turn myself in to Troup County Jail. It is so nasty and full of coronavirus. They haven’t been doing the necessary things to keep it contained. It’s beyond overcrowded, nobody gets a court date, it’s just wrong how the inmates are treated. I haven’t been running, they never came to my house or anything. They straight blasted me on social media, so I did it back.”
