Cobb police: Reports of shots fired near Cobb Galleria ‘false alarm’

The Cobb County Police Department said reports of shots fired near the Cobb Galleria were a “false alarm.”

Officers are searching for the Midtown shooting suspect in the Vinings area, in the Cumberland area and near Truist Park, the department said. A heavy police presence has been reported in the area.
