A Cobb County mother was arrested after police said her 2-year-old son was found wandering outside their apartment cold and alone.

Channel 2 Action News reported that Andrea Cuervo was charged with reckless conduct since she is alleged to have purposely left the boy at her Kennesaw apartment on Busbee Parkway for a minimum of two hours Sunday.

According to an arrest warrant, the son “wandered outside of the apartment and was found by a witness crying and shivering in the cold weather,” the news station reported.

The woman told Channel 2 that she’s a good mother and her son is OK.
