The Cobb Chamber will present the 2012 Public Safety Employee of the Year Award as well as the Medal of Valor, Award of Merit and the Distinguished Achievement Award at a breakfast Monday to kick-off the 14th annual Public Safety Appreciation Week.

The breakfast will be held at 7:30 a.m. at the Cobb Galleria Centre, 2 Galleria Parkway.

Chris Allen, founder of Hunting for Heroes, an organization that provides recreational therapy and counseling for law enforcement officers severely injured in the line of duty, will be the guest speaker.
