A Clayton County Sheriff’s Office maintenance worker was arrested Friday after forbidden items were found in the jail inmate housing area during a search earlier in the week.

A cell phone, charger and drugs were discovered Wednesday, which led to an investigation, according to an alert from the sheriff’s office.

Pharoah Davis Johnson, a CGL employee, is charged with one felony count and three misdemeanor counts of felony possession by, delivery to inmate of, or bringing within guard lines drugs, weapons, alcohol, or other prohibited articles, the sheriff’s office said. He is also charged with one count of felony possession with intent to distribute.
