A man “landed on his feet” after he was thrown from a car while running away from police, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said.

According to Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill, a suspected car thief tried to hit a deputy head-on when attempting to escape.

Unfortunately, he was “pitted off the road and ejected” from the vehicle, Hill said in a Twitter post. The car flipped over and the suspect was able to land on his feet. He was then arrested, Hill said.
