Atlanta lawyer Han Choi, a partner for the firm Ballard Spahr, has helped launch the Korean Bar Association of Georgia as a founding member.

The legal group will inform and work with the Korean-American community and the community at large on legal issues, and it will provide mentors for the state’s Korean-American lawyers and law students. Choi, a public finance attorney, is a past president of the Georgia Asian Pacific Bar Association and is a member of Ballard Spahr’s Korea Initiative. About 40 lawyers attended the group’s kickoff reception, Choi said.
