The tried-and-true offerings at Chick-fil-A are getting a bit of a shakeup in the new year at select locations.

Beginning Jan. 13, the metro Atlanta-based chain will test three new spicy menu items — Spicy Chick-n-Strips, the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich and the Spicy Chick-n-Strips Biscuit — at Charlotte, North Carolina, locations and Arizona locations.

The spicier options were introduced at Phoenix locations in the fall, and the positive feedback brought about the expanded market test for the piquant fare. The new items will replace a number of familiar dishes at the fast food chain to ensure the menu is “a little bit simpler and a whole lot spicier,” according to the restaurant’s Chicken Wire blog.

"Why so much change? Our goal is to serve quality food as efficiently as possible. For us to continue providing the food and service you know and love, we are testing this modified menu to see if it improves your experience in our restaurants." — The Chicken Wire blog

Each item will be available in the signature grilled or hand-breaded chicken and seasoned with a spicy blend of peppers, according to the blog.

Here’s a look at which items are being removed from the menu in Arizona and Charlotte to make way for the test menu:
