Chattanooga police respond to reported shooting at mall

Chattanooga police are responding to reports of a shooting at Hamilton Place Mall, according to WTVC.

The initial call came in before 4 p.m. Friday.

Chattanooga police Public Information Officer Victor Miller told WTVC that police are responding to reports of a person shot in the parking lot.

Shoppers said they were told to evacuate.

Police said they have one person in custody and another person detained.
