Chamblee Dunwoody Road and Nandina Lane, which were closed for a few hours Monday as crews worked to repair a broken gas line, have reopened, police said.

Atlanta Gas and Light crews worked with the Dunwoody Police and DeKalb Fire Departments to repair the leak and get the roads open again, authorities said. While it was closed, police rerouted traffic to Dunwoody Village Parkway.

Dunwoody police spokesman Tim Fecht said that construction crews working in the area hit a gas line, which caused the leak. A few small businesses were evacuated as a precaution, he said.
