Clark Atlanta University has inducted 100 charter members into the school’s new Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society.

With more than 300 chapters throughout the United States and nearly 1 million members, Phi Eta Sigma is the largest and oldest freshman honor society in America.

“The chartering of Phi Eta Sigma at Clark Atlanta University creates an opportunity for recognizing promising scholars, as well as opportunities for student leadership and scholarship within the organization,” said CAU President Carlton E. Brown. “The induction ceremony was a public acknowledgement of our outstanding academic achievers, and we are proud to have such a large number of inductees.”
