A 27-year-old Cartersville man died in a single-car crash on George Busbee Parkway in Kennesaw early Sunday morning.

Police discovered the body of Eric White around 3 a.m. on George Busbee Parkway, west of Town Center Mall. Officers found his body in a gray 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt. Investigators believe White was traveling northbound on the parkway when he lost control while attempting to negotiate a right curve. The driver’s side of the vehicle struck a tree on the shoulder of the roadway. Excessive speed was a contributing factor in this collision, police said.

Cobb police investigators ask that anyone with information on the crash to call (770) 499-3987.
