Carroll County man accused of downloading child porn

A Carroll County man was arrested Thursday and charged with five counts of sexual exploitation of children after he downloaded images depicting child pornography, according to the county’s sheriff’s office.

Alexander Marcelle Lee, 22, of Bowdon was arrested after the Carroll sheriff’s office investigated a tip that he was downloading the images. A statement from the sheriff’s office said the images “were of young children and were very explicit in nature.”

After getting a warrant, sheriff’s deputies searched Lee’s home Thursday and placed him under arrest. He is charged with five counts of sexual exploitation of children.
