Oh Lord, stuck in Lodi again.
California firefighters used the Jaws of Life to rescue a deer that was stuck in the bars of a wrought iron fence Wednesday, KTXL reported.
Rhonda Perry Parker, of Lodi, California, found the animal caught in the fence and called for help, KOVR reported.
“It was thrashing around so at this point I called 911,” Perry told the television station.
As Parker became more concerned, she called firefighters a second time, KOVR reported.
“I told the (Lodi) fire department what was going on; that a deer is hanging off a ledge in between some railing,” she told the television station reported.
Firefighters arrived and sedated the deer, and then freed the animal.
The Lodi Fire Department shared photos on its Facebook page. Once freed, the deer ran away along a river near the home, KTXL reported.
