Meet Brook, the new tourism mascot for the city of Brookhaven.

Tourism manager Mike Vescio introduced Brook to the public on March 25 at Brookhaven City Hall. The mascot is a 5'10" green pigeon sporting a pink bow tie.

If you'd like to meet the mascot, Brook will be at the Brookhaven Cherry Festival, which runs March 27-29 at Blackburn Park.

The Brookhaven Office of Tourism works with local businesses to promote the city to outside guests. Visitors are encouraged to stay in Brookhaven hotels and to frequent Brookhaven's businesses, including local restaurants and retail establishments, as well as attend seasonal events. Brookhaven is proud to offer easy access to downtown Atlanta, an abundance of parks and international dining options.

The office is funded by hotel-motel taxes.
