Though the battle over the must-have fried chicken sandwich has quelled, (considering the magnitude of the coronavirus pandemic), there is still a fried chicken must-have to look forward to this fall — fried chicken-scented firelogs.

KFC, the chicken franchise that brought us Nashville Hot Chicken, just released its holiday favorite − the 11 Herbs & Spices firelog — at select Walmart stores.

The firelog, made by Georgia-based Enviro-Log, returns for a limited time for the holidays to emanate warmth, a mouth-watering aroma and a little piece of Colonel Sanders to homes across the country. It’s the third year the firelogs have been offered by the Kentucky chicken chain.

“Back by popular demand. 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog from @envirologfire is here for the Holidays! Because it’s never too early to start shopping for your chicken-scented gifting needs,” read a tweet from KFC.

One reviewer at Walmart.com gushed over the uncanny scent of the firelog.

“This KFC fire log smells amazing and adds a little extra holiday cheer to the home,” the reviewer wrote. “As a lover of KFC, this log is the gift of the season!!! The firelog burns easily and smells like the real deal.”

The firelog, which is made with all recycled materials, retails for $15.88 on Walmart’s website. The logs burn for up to three hours and you must store them in a dry place — away from kids and pets. The firelogs, which sold out quickly the first two years, are also available in Canada for the first time this season.

“We captured the hearts, noses and fireplaces of our fans, but thousands more were clamoring to get their hands on our limited firelogs,” Andrea Zahumensky, KFC U.S. chief marketing officer, said in a statement last year, noting the partnership with Walmart will help “spread the finger-lickin’ good cheer.”
