A woman was rescued Sunday morning after an oak tree and power lines fell on her car and trapped her inside, according to firefighters in Atlanta.
Fire crews freed the woman from the vehicle after the large tree came down on top of it in the area of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and Eugenia Street, Atlanta Fire Rescue said in a tweet.
A video from the scene shows branches of the massive tree coming through the roof of the black Lexus.
The woman was taken to a hospital. The extent of her injuries was not stated.
The incident came as the remnants of Tropical Storm Claudette are moving through North Georgia. The storm left downed trees and power lines in its wake on Saturday evening. It was downgraded to a tropical depression on Saturday but could reintensify and produce tornadoes through Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service
