The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has identified two people who were fatally shot in an apparent murder-suicide Wednesday morning in Milledgeville.

Tameka Justice, 33, and Randall Wilson, 31, died at Navicent Health Medical Center after the shooting on West Mitchell Street, according to The Union Recorder.

The identities were confirmed by Baldwin County Coroner John Gonzalez, according to reports.

The two were a couple but not married. Authorities said Justice called 911 shortly before noon Wednesday to report her boyfriend was harassing her.

As police arrived, Wilson opened fire, hitting Justice multiple times, and then turned the gun on himself, the Macon Telegraph reported, citing a statement by GBI. They were rushed to the hospital, where they both died a minute apart.

Autopsies are expected Thursday at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Laboratory in Macon.

The Milledgeville Police Department has turned the investigation over to the GBI.

Neighbors and others had surrounded the home most of Wednesday afternoon, but the scene had been mainly cleared by 2 p.m. One of the victims lived at the home, according to The Union Recorder.
