Police are looking for a convicted felon they say beat his girlfriend to the point of breaking bones in her face.

Daniel Jerome Warthen, 26, is wanted on aggravated assault charges, Conyers police spokeswoman Sergeant Kim Lucas said.

Lucas said Warthen has told police he’s “not going back to jail.”

Warthen is described as 6-foot-2 and weighing 150 pounds. Police did not say what Warthen’s past convictions were. Police are asking people to use extreme caution if they encounter Warthen.

Anyone with information about the Warthen’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
