I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that indicted DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis and D.A. Robert James don’t much like each other.

Or maybe it’s just that the county isn’t big enough for two smart, hard-charging, ambitious politicians.

Or maybe it’s that there’s so much at stake in Ellis’ corruption trial: for the defendant, staying out of prison; and for the prosecutor, not suffering a second big loss, as he did in the trial of Andrea Sneiderman.
