To say that Felicia Moore and Kasim Reed don’t see eye to eye is like saying that the Real Housewives of Atlanta sometimes have their spats.

The most recent dust-up between the mayor and the councilwoman concerns so-called “hardship” payouts to several city staffers, including the police chief and two aides to the mayor. For some strange reason, Reed got a bit, shall we say, testy, when Moore suggested that the payments, which ran into the tens of thousands, might not be strictly legal.

As you might imagine, both Moore and Reed had a few choice words when I broached the subject.
