More than a month after a teenager allegedly stole two Porsches from the company’s North American headquarters in Hapeville, he faces multiple charges in two counties.
A judge on Thursday granted Nehemiah Brewer, 19, a $20,000 bond in connection with nearly a dozen charges following a chase in Clayton County on Jan. 16 after the alleged thefts, according to jail and court records. The charges in Clayton include hit-and-run and obstructing an officer.
Brewer had earlier been booked in the Fulton County jail Feb. 5 on theft by taking and entering auto charges by Hapeville police. He was released Feb. 7 on a $10,000 bond.
According to Channel 2 Action News, Brewer led officers on the chase on I-75 northbound in Clayton County, hitting five cars.

Hapeville police say the teen stole the cars just as a delivery driver was unloading them onto the lot. The SUVs were reportedly worth $200,000 combined.
“(The driver) had returned to the cab of the tractor to put some of the (car) keys away because they wouldn’t fit in his pocket,” Hapeville police Sgt. K. Ozee wrote in his report.

The delivery driver, Joseph Foskey, then saw a white Nissan Infinity pull into the lot. Moments later, he heard the black Porsche Cayenne start up and saw it leave the lot. The driver was later identified as Brewer.
Foskey called officers, but the second SUV was being stolen as they arrived.
Police were able to find Brewer after he allegedly posted photos of himself committing the crime on Instagram.
Days later, Atlanta police found the cars abandoned on a street with damages to one of them. Stolen knives, a gun holster and marijuana cigarette burns were also found inside, police said.
Brewer’s next court date is scheduled for April 6. His alleged accomplice has not been found.
