One man is in custody but two remain at large after an armed robbery at Perimeter Mall on Monday afternoon, police said.

The three men are suspected of stealing a vehicle in a possible carjacking in Brookhaven and then committing the armed robbery in Dunwoody, Sandy Springs police Sgt. Salvador Ortega said.

According to Dunwoody police Sgt. Robert Parsons, the suspects approached two women at the mall around 3 p.m. and robbed them of their purses at gunpoint. The suspects then fled in a stolen Chrysler 200.

The vehicle was later located by Sandy Springs police. All three suspects attempted to flee the scene but one was apprehended. Police continue to search for the other two.
