Power has been restored at Georgia Gwinnett College, which was forced to delay its opening Wednesday after overnight storms knocked out service to the Lawrenceville campus.

The college opened at noon, officials said on Twitter.

More severe weather is possible Wednesday, according to Channel 2 Action News. There is a 60 percent chance of scattered storms, which could develop later in the afternoon.
