Authorities in Cherokee County are searching for man who went missing last week.

David Mazurek, 57, of Powder Springs, was last seen walking near the intersection of Highway 92 and Bells Ferry Road in Acworth on the night of Sept. 5th. Mazurek possibly suffers from a diminished mental capacity.

He was wearing gray pants, a black and gold shirt, leather deck shoes, a coral necklace, and a white jacket with red and blue markings, according to police.

Cherokee Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for assistance from the public in locating the man. If anyone has seen Mazurek or knows where is, they are urged to notify the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office at 678-493-4080.
