Police in Clayton County are investigating after a tanker truck overturned on a major roadway Wednesday afternoon.

The truck turned over on Tara Boulevard in the area of Arrowhead Boulevard, Clayton police said about noon. No other details were released.

No injuries were reported.

The overturned truck closed the roadway for the better part of four hours.

All southbound lanes of Tara Boulevard were closed while authorities worked to clear the wreck. Two lanes were opened about 4 p.m., police said.
