A Marietta woman died Friday after crashing her Honda Accord into a brick pillar and then hitting a parked vehicle, according to police.

Candice M. Cremeans, 32, had driven into the parking lot of an auto repair shop off of Canton Road when the car struck the pillar, according to a statement released on Saturday by the Cobb County Police Department. Cremeans then accelerated away from the pillar and hit a vehicle that was unoccupied. Investigators believe the woman may have had a medical emergency, which contributed to the crash.

Cremeans was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police reported. The county medical examiner is conducting an investigation.
