Police have arrested a man accused of fatally shooting a woman last month outside a south Fulton County restaurant.

Demetrius D. Baughns, 20, was charged Monday with murder in connection with the death of Tequilla Latrice Laye.

In the early morning of Feb. 1, police say an argument started inside El Nopal Mexican Restaurant at 5350 Old National Highway.

The altercation spilled outside into the parking lot where eventually shots were fired, police said.

Laye was hit and killed, police said.

Investigators initially were seeking two suspects in the incident, and it is unclear if a second suspect remains at large.
