How the I-85 collapse affected traffic in Atlanta

Atlanta's traffic woes took a turn for the worse on Friday as authorities closed a section of Interstate 85. The following pictures of traffic density, as shown by Google Maps, depict vehicular flow on the city's roads between 3-7:30 p.m. You can compare traffic on a typical Friday to the traffic on Atlanta's first full day after bridge collapse (the redder the lines, the more the traffic).
