Funeral arrangements were announced Wednesday for two Atlanta firefighters who died in separate, off-duty incidents last week.
Sgt. Frank Guinn's funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Peachtree Road Presbyterian Church, 3434 Roswell Road in Atlanta.
Firefighter Jermaine Hall's funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, 6400 Woodrow Road in Lithonia.
Guinn, 36, was training for an Ironman Triathlon in New Orleans on Friday when he was struck by a car and killed while riding a bicycle, authorities said. His brother-in-law was critically injured. A third cyclist was not hurt.
Less than 24 hours later, Hall, 24, died at WellStar Kennestone Hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm.
Flags flew at half-staff at Atlanta fire stations Saturday.
