Police in Troup County have discovered five bodies inside a LaGrange home and are now seeking to question a man in connection with the deaths.

Channel 2 Action News is reporting that authorities believe the 26-year-old man, Thomas Jesse Lee, is a suspect in the deaths. He is the husband of one of the victims.

Authorities say they were called to the LaGrange home for a welfare check Saturday night and found five bodies inside. Four of the deceased are female and one male, aged 16 years to 60 years old.

The owners of the home were among the dead. Two other family members were also found deceased.

Police spokesman Sgt. Stewart Smith said the victims are: William Burtron, 69; Sheila Burtron, 68; Christie Lee, around 33, Bailey Burtron, 16; and Iiaonna Green, 18.

Authorities said four of the five victims were shot to death, but that they did not locate a weapon.

Police say they haven’t been able to make contact with Lee, who is likely driving an olive-green Mazda Tribute with a Georgia tag BRN0785.

Those with information for the police are encouraged to call the Troup County Sheriff’s Office at 706-883-1616.
